American International School of Wuxi (AISW) is a private, non-profit, co-educational international school serving children of overseas families living in Wuxi and neighboring areas. It is committed to providing the students with a strong and challenging international education, one that includes not only an academically demanding program, but also recognizes and teaches to the whole child. 

  AISW has been open since August of 2006, and includes the primary grades of 1 through 5. The school will continue to grow into the secondary education of Grade 6 to Grade 12 in subsequent years. The school will seek the accreditation from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), and the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) for the Primary Years Program (PYP). 

  AISW will be a member of the East Asian Regional Council of Overseas Schools (EARCOS), and the Association of China and Mongolia International Schools (ACAMIS). 

  School Strength

  The 4000 square meters school building occupies a central position on the 620-acres Wuxi Guanghua Private School ground.AISW's four floors house includes a library, computer labs, multi-purpose project areas, music and dance rooms and a patio playground. AISW’s students will also have access to several shared facilities, which include an indoor gymnasium, a cafeteria, a multi-media center, tennis courts and an auditorium. AISW also offers a boarding option.

  American International School of Wuxi will promote an understanding and respect for cultural differences. AISW believes in the importance of learning from diverse cultures.
